2026 Genesis Invitational Friday TV coverage: How to watch Round 2

The second round of the 2026 Genesis Invitational begins Friday morning at Riviera CC in California. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Friday, including full Genesis Invitational TV coverage, streaming details and Round 2 tee times.

How to watch Genesis Invitational on Friday

Tournament organizers are hopeful the entirety of Round 2 can be played Friday at the Genesis Invitational. But before the stars of the PGA Tour start the second round, 30 players have to finish their opening rounds.

Rains inundated Riviera on Thursday, suspending play for hours. At 5:41 p.m. PT (8:41 p.m. ET), play was suspended due to darkness. Round 1 will resume Friday morning at 10 a.m ET, with the second round beginning at 10:40 a.m. ET, 25 minutes later than originally scheduled.

Among the players who still have to complete the first round is World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler had a disastrous start on Thursday, making three bogeys and a double bogey to fall to five over through 10 holes. He’ll try to claw some strokes back over his final eight holes before starting his second round at 12:33 p.m. ET.

Rory McIlroy was one of the players who finished his first round Thursday, and he fared a lot better than Scheffler. McIlroy shot a five-under 66 to trail the early lead by one.
