Self Esteem Announced as Headliner for On The Mount at Wasing Concert Series

One of the UK’s most influential contemporary pop artists, Self Esteem, has been confirmed as a headliner for On The Mount at Wasing, the celebrated open-air concert series returning in 2026. Set within the breathtaking natural amphitheatre of the Wasing Estate in Berkshire, the series is renowned for its fusion of world-class performances with an environment intentionally crafted for connection, reflection, and sensory immersion.

Self Esteem will top the bill on Saturday 4 July, joining previously announced headliners MIKA (26 June) and Pixies (27 June). The Mount’s woodland paths, wildflower-lined arena and intimate, natural staging make it one of the UK’s most singular outdoor music experiences, and an inspired setting for an artist whose work thrives on emotional honesty and communal release.

Rebecca Lucy Taylor, aka Self Esteem, enters 2026 following a phenomenal year that solidified her status across music, literature and performance. Her third album and debut book, both titled A Complicated Woman, arrived in 2025 to widespread acclaim, showcasing her signature blend of incisive self-examination, humour and grand-scale pop ambition. Powered by a vast choir of mostly female voices, the album earned her the Visionary Award at the Ivor Novello Awards, while lead single ‘Focus Is Power’ became the official soundtrack to the BBC’s coverage of the Lionesses’ Euros victory.

The accompanying book, released in October, further cemented Taylor as one of the most fearless and essential storytellers of her generation; later reflected in her invitation to co-curate the London Literature Festival.

From her Slow Club beginnings to the seismic breakthrough of ‘I Do This All The Time’, Self Esteem’s ascent has been steady, uncompromising and richly deserved. Her headline appearance at Wasing promises to be one of the standout live moments of next summer, set within one of the UK’s most transportive outdoor venues.
