Some serious Ennio Morricone going down here or at least that is how my head considered the spaghetti western opening on ‘Cable Azul’. A good deal from the reality given the context of the indie pop allure of Proxima’s gorgeous effort though. And the rush of endorphins arrive quickly when we hear the free spirited vocal melodies, which soar with a degree of joy that sounds positively old school in their purity. After just one listen this song was already residing heartside. KH
