There is plenty going on in the undergrowth when it comes to ‘Rats in a Cage’, the sort that means Atlanta’s Last Relapse might have something on their hands here that will us coming back time and again. I felt the depth of enterprise and emotion that’s for sure, a cavalier approach but one with a constant regard for that all important tuneage. This is stellar stuff, a return to the indie glory days and even some room for a bit of noodling experimentation. KH
