Bei Bei – “Two Moons”

Crafting a memorable soundscape in its use of vibrant, plucky guzheng within a lush lo-fi entrancement, “Two Moons” is a newly released single from Bei Bei. The track — written during the 2024 Mid-Autumn Harvest Moon Festival — comes via the Los Angeles-based artist’s upcoming album, also entitled Two Moons, and releasing on February 20th, 2026.

The full-length is a collaboration with London-based composer and producer Paul Elliott, with this single being an enveloping preview of the sound to anticipate. Bei Bei has performed in a variety of media — from Disney’s Mulan to games like League of Legends, Sleeping Dogs, and Civilization VII — in addition to collaborating with artists like Christina Aguilera, Shawn Lee, and Fingazz. This forthcoming album continues an ascent of success for the memorable artist.

The production plays with an inviting aura, particularly in showcasing the beauty of guzheng, the 21-stringed Chinese zither. Its easy-flowing seamlessness finds accompaniment in serene electronic flashes, and then a warmly booming bass line around mid-point. A more sporadic, spacious intrigue shows in the final moments, culminating the climactic progression with a sating finality. “Two Moons” is a gorgeously atmospheric, immersive success from Bei Bei, leaving us firmly anticipating the forthcoming album.
