What has undoubtedly been a tour to remember that has travelled across 31 shows in 15 cities worldwide has gone on to create iconic moments, jaw-dropping performances, and heartfelt fan interactions. j-Hope is wrapping up his HOPE ON THE STAGE tour with two final shows in Seoul at GOYANG Stadium. Oh, and if that wasn't exciting enough, the finale will take place during the FESTA weekend on Friday, June 13th, and Saturday, June 14th.
Throughout the tour the rapper debuted two new singles, Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel) and Mona Lisa, to great fanfare. And, knowing J-Hope, there is always something more up his sleeve. During a recent Weverse live, he teased fans by saying, “This is the final concert to put a mark on the HOPE ON THE STAGE Tour. So, I think there will be some surprises for you. That’s all I can tell you.” He then remarked about the significance of this year’s FESTA, adding, “ Most of the members will be discharged by then. I think this Festa will be extremely meaningful this year… Now we'll really have a Festa that has Bangtan in it. Finally!”
The tour itself has offered an emotional, in-depth look into the multiple sides of j-Hope. Not just a rapper, he is deeply in in-tune and reflective of who he is as an artist, not just as a rapper, but dancer and vocalist.
In a recent interview with Zane Lowe, he reflected on his military service and how important music is to his life. He also mentioned that the BTS hiatus has served its purpose of allowing them to grow. A chance for them to explore their own sides, see what they can do, and realign with their passion. Once together on stage again, he said how he’s excited to see how the synergy will be explosive. This chapter has truly let them flourish, reset, and let the music do the talking.
